iPhone 5 Leaked Photos and Screenshots

iPhone has always been the talk of the town due to Apple’s brilliant marketing strategies and a great fan following. iPhone 4 has not even reached various markets, even after 1.5 million sales on the very first day of being made available to the public. And here we have a crazy update!iPhone 5, successor of iPhone 4, we know nothing about the Hardware and other specifications, but we surely have some leaked screenshots of iPhone 5.

iPhone 5 Leaked Photos

Real iPhone 5 Screenshot
I came across this screenshot on Twitter when someone posted it. I am unable to trace back, who posted it. (Sorry for that)
According to the screenshot, it appears that iPhone 5 may have an Antenna. The obvious question is WHY? It may be because of the iPhone 4 Holding issues which led to reduced network coverage. (Just guessing)
Or that antenna may be an extra accessory which would have been included while taking the photo. We never know!
And after all this, we are not even sure weather this is a real Leaked Screenshot iPhone 5 or not, as it appears very similar to iPhone 4 with just an Antenna attached. (I can also be a Photoshop trick) Some guy would just be kidding around with all those Apple enthusiasts out there.
Note: Currently I am considering it as a Rumour, but it may well be true!
Update: The iPhone 5 prototypes are making news, I just got hold of a prototype which shows the Glossy Front and Back panels of the iPhone 5.

Update: One more iPhone 5 leaked photo is out which shows an Metal Back Case. It is the same as iPhone 4 just an addition of the Metal back case..

iPhone 5 Rumored Specs and Release Date: Price and Review Still Hazy

The iPhone may be the most popular smartphone ever released by Apple. It may have some discoloration as well reception issues with the iPhone 4 but somehow it has able to manage its good standing in the smartphone industry. But just recently there were ongoing rumors that Apple is set to unveil the next generation iPhone which is apparently called the iPhone 5.

As rumored, the iPhone 5 is going to address the issue on reception that most iPhone 4 users complained about. Aside from this, Apple has also been rumored to be on the process of developing a payment system that will make use of your iPhone to serve as some sort of a credit card in various stores and establishments – no need for additional phone attachment.

In fact, Apple hired the services of Benjamin Vigier, a known expert in the mobile payment industry. Benjamin Vigier has been known for using a technology called near field communication or NFC. Vigier is one of Apple’s Product Managers at present and basically he was assigned to handle Apple’s Mobile Commerce Division. Aside from Vigier, Apple has also hired the services of some phone engineers that are well-experienced in NFC and other similar mobile technologies.

With this actions being done by Apple, some believes that this only signifies that the next generation iPhone will be able to act as a payment method in stores just like certain phones in Japan which can be use for subway rides and vending machines.

According to some reliable source, Apple will be integrating this NFC technology using a hardware from NXP Semiconductor which is the market leader when it comes to NFC. These reliable sources also revealed that Apple has been making NFC-enabled iPhone prototype is also running some test related to mobile payments.

The iPhone 5 is anticipated to be released early next year and with the recent developments and researches being made by Apple, most likely the iPhone 5 will include the NFC technology. Apple is also planning to integrate NFC technology in its Apple TV and Mac books as well in order to transfer data between these devices at a high speed.

At this point it’s pretty obvious that Apple is preparing for this upcoming iPhone device, making sure that everything will be perfect. But the iPhone 5 is far way to go since it will still pass some more testing and pre-production stage before its final release.

Basically, the iPhone 5 will most likely offer something new with its mobile commerce as well as its short range wireless applications. This new technology combined with Apple’s hardware, software and platform strategy, will surely make the iPhone 5 to be a hit once it penetrates the market.

Samsung Galaxy S2 vs Galaxy R Comparison

Samsung Galaxy S2 made a huge impact in the smartphone market worldwide and has even surpassed Samsung’s own expectations. Samsung claims that they managed to sell 5 million phones within 85 days. They are also aware of the fact that this sale would have been even higher had the price been lower. With that thought in mind Samsung has come out with a baby version of Samsung Galaxy S2 named Samsung Galaxy R. Here we have compared the two smart phones on multiple fronts to see what difference between the two devices is.

Design and Looks:
Galaxy R looks has very much the same looks as the Galaxy S2 however there is a little difference in design with Galaxy R being a millimeter thicker than S2 with thickness of 9.5mm in contrast to 8.5mm of Galaxy S. Galaxy R is also quiet heavier weighing 135g in comparison to 116g of Galaxy S2.

Display:
Galaxy S2 features Super AMOLED TFT capacitive touch screen with resolution of 480 x 800 pixels and 16M color support. The baby version comes with SC LCD capacitive touchscreen having the same resolution and color support. Good thing is that Galaxy R retains the same 4.2 inch screen as Galaxy S2 however the display of Galaxy S2 is gorilla glass display. Features like Touch wiz UI, proximity sensor, accelerometer sensor, Gyroscope and Multitouch input method are common in both the phones.

Camera:
Galaxy S2 features 8MP autofocus camera with LED flash that is able to record HD 1080p video at 30fps, there is also a 2MP secondary camera for video calling. Galaxy R has 5MP camera with autofocus and LED flash, it is able to record HD 720p video. Galaxy R also lack image stabilization, touch focus and face and smile detection features but has a secondary video call camera.

Processor and OS:
The processor in Galaxy R sees a little downgrading having Tegra 2 Dual-core 1GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor powered by ULP Geforce GPU in contrast to Exynos Dual-core 1.2GHz ARM Cortex-A9 proccessor powered by Mali-400MP GPU. Both the smart phones have the same version of Android OS that is the latest Android 2.3(Gingerbread).

Keeping in view the success that’s Galaxy S2 is having it won’t be a surprise at all to see Galaxy R getting a decent enough market share for itself and may even surpass Galaxy S2.
