Vodafone has launched a revolutionary Solar Powered Mobile Phone, Vodafone VF247, in India.
Vodafone VF247 is Vodafone's first Solar powered mobile phone in India. This phone comes with an idea of Solar charging, which will specially be beneficial for people in Rural India, as we all know there is lot of power cuts in those areas.Also this phone will get into good books of environmentalists, as this phone will save energy (however not sufficient enough to handle India's power issues). Vodafone VF247 is expected to arrive in Indian markets in the price range of Rs.1500- Rs.1800
