It’s been a while since we last saw a modular phone, so here’s another bite out of this customizable segment, thanks to the Modula concept handset. Created by Simon Lyons, the cellphone is highly customizable and supports hardware upgrades over the years, once the main phone unit becomes obsolete.
Different modules attached to the phone will assign different new features, ranging from camera, to new connectivity support and extra memory. Modula comes with a 16:9 fingerprint resistant multitouch display, if you’re wondering about its features, plus dual SIM support, stereo speakers and a camera that does video messaging.[via The Design Blog]
