Blackberry Torch 9850 in India Soon

Blackberry has recently announced their latest addition to the Blackberry Torch series. The new BlackBerry Torch 9850/9860 Smart phones are all touch devices. They feature the latest BlackBerry 7 OS. Blackberry Torch 9850 and 9860 launch date and price in India is yet to be known. We will keep you posted on the same.(It is expected in India by September end). They also launched the new Blackberry Torch 9810 as an addition to the existing Torch series.

Design:
The new design of Blackberry smartphones focuses on stylish looks rather than the less funky traditional BlackBerry designs. The phones with its lustrous exterior and “Waterfall” ends give a pleasing visual experience instantly. No matter whether the phone is used in the conventional portrait orientation or landscape orientation it fits perfectly in hands with its sculpted back.

Display:
BlackBerry Torch smartphones feature WVGA display with resolution of 800×480 with impressive 253 DPI. The screen size is quiet large compared to the Blackberry standards infect the biggest seen so far in the BlackBerry phones. The display is quiet sharp, bright and crisp. The face of the BlackBerry Torch smart phones is designed to fall over the edge of the phones known as the waterfall seems to lengthen the screen to enhance the visual experience equally good in landscape and portrait orientation.

Camera:
The BlackBerry Torch 9850 and 9860 Smartphone feature a 5MP camera with maximum resolution of 2592х1944 pixel and the ability to record HD 720p video. The phone also features continuous auto focus, image stabilization, geo-tagging and face detection features. The HD recorded video can be viewed on your TV or computer plus the photos can be uploaded to Facebook in matter of seconds through the camera app.

Magnometer: Magnometer also know as digital compass will open new ways for location based services and augmented reality. One such example is Wikitude that combines the virtual and real world to over lay the contextual information about what the user see through the camera viewfinder. Wikitude s also integrated with BlackBerry Messenger 6 which allows you to see the location f your BBM 6 contacts.

BlackBerry 7 OS:
Torch smart phones are powered by the BlackBerry 7 OS which is a great improvement over it s predecessor providing a much faster and better browsing experience. Now you can also separately manage the private and corporate data. It also supports the HTML 5 elements like HTML5 video.
