In this review, I suggest the analysis of this new gadget rim without conclusions that I'm not sure of my feelings towards PlayBook. It is more interesting than the storm or the fire, but there are still too many reservations. The model is still waiting for the location of several foreign markets.

I will not compare it with iPad because Blackberry Playbook is unlikely to enjoy similar levels of popularity. If the first IPAD does not have as many additional applications, the standard software worked better. PlayBook has many questions, often quite unexpected. It is still too crude. Updates are published on time and are automatically downloaded, but it is not clear how long it will take until all the bugs are eliminated.

Design

You can not learn properly without the Blackberry Playbook take control to evaluate the materials and build their own. There are many things to be evaluated here as the gadget is unlike other tablets and has its unique selling points. The facade looks like a photo frame because of the wide rim around the screen. Above there is a 3MP camera lens and a light indicator. On both sides, we see speakers at the top has a 3.5mm jack and bottom contacts are located in the dock, microUSB for charging plug or USB cable with microHDMI nearby. The cover is made of fabric and its narrow opening, it is difficult to put inside the tablets. On the other hand it allows the screen to clean dirt. At the rear you'll find a 5MP camera lens and the ubiquitous logo of the company. The gadget has the following dimensions: 194 х 130 х 10 mm and weighs 425 g. It is quite heavy, and after some time you can get tired if you use PlayBook on the couch. It is too heavy for the pockets of all types as well.

In general, Blackberry traditions are observed. The color is black, while the materials are impressive and the construction is good. The sides have a metal rim and the back is made ​​of rubber. The front is protected by glass. When I held with both hands PlayBook I could reach almost any part of the screen.

The screen is easily soiled and you can see all fingerprints clearly enough.

Screen

Blackberry Playbook - A 7" screen offers the resolution of 1024 х 600. This touchscreen supports multitouch and boasts impressive viewing angles, brightness and response. I always value one simple test – the input of the text on the virtual keypad. There are no problems here and the gadget handles pressings accurately and quickly.

Controls

At the top there is an activation button, which also sends PlayBook into the sleep mode. The button is tiny and it takes some time to get accustomed to its location, which is not the best. Besides are situated volume controls buttons and the Play/Pause key. You can use it from time to time to stop the music playback quickly. The main controls element is a touchscreen.
